How to start an Internet startup

Probably you have an idea for a website, you are thinking about your startup, but so far there are no moves. And this idea is not the first month, and maybe a year... Why haven't you started your web project yet? 

And there are other characters:  'Now I will order an analog of Amazon and it'll be a success!'... no, it won't. 

Any undertaking risks freezing capital, getting bogged down in the project, and not getting the right response from the target audience. The task of the project Manager is to reduce these very risks and make a decision about initiating the project.

Risks are what you need to work with at the earliest stages of a web project

It is better to prepare thoroughly for the project and only then start active product development activities.

To minimize the risk of project failure, the following measures must be taken.

The first stage is collecting information

It is necessary to gather as much information as possible about future activities related to the project.

It is necessary to interact with users as closely as possible before creating the product. This will help you understand how much your product will be in demand by other people. Isn't your product a figment of your imagination? Will it seem useful to someone else besides you?

Next-prototype definition

You don't have to invest in creating something big and cumbersome right away. It is much better to understand the core of people's wishes/needs and do only what they asked for. No more, no less. In prototype form. This lets you know if we are moving in the right direction or if something is wrong with our product.

Note that we haven't actually started developing the project yet, and you can easily collapse the project at each stage.

At this point, you already have enough information to decide to develop the project by creating a prototype or collapse it. The most important thing is not to postpone it just 'until better times'. Better times will never come. The best times need to be prepared, and only then do they have a chance to come.

All risks, pros/cons should be considered, and then make an informed decision to start the project. 

P.S. Do not be led by emotional appeals to start quickly: Now or never, Who does not take risks, does not drink champagne. All this is made up for gullible people. Creating a product involves a marathon, not a brief emotional outburst. Make a rational decision based on the response of the market, not on your feelings.

Prepare for a marathon in a few years, not a sprint for 1-2 months
